Seeking an eager, mechanically inclined person to join our long-standing team. This position would start by doing majority sanding and grinding, and later the opportunity to be trained on basic to advanced electrical systems, NG and LP gas mechanics as well as many things in between.
This individual can not be afraid to get dirty. All protective gear provided. This job would be full time, with occasional daily travel to jobsites approximately 1-2 times per month, located in a tri-state area.
Local family owned company of less than 10 employees. Plenty of room for advancement within. All current employees have been here for a minimum 9 years. Company offers PTO, insurance for the individual, company match plan IRA.
Understanding of basic tools is a must. Having your own hand tools is a must. Power drill, impact, drill bits, and PPE provided by company.
What you'd do
- Start out doing mostly sanding and grinding on equipment coming through the shop
- Train up to basic and then advanced electrical systems
- Learn natural gas and LP gas mechanics, and plenty in between
- Travel to jobsites in the tri-state area roughly one or two days a month
What you need
- Eager and mechanically inclined - no bakery equipment experience needed
- Understanding of basic tools
- Your own hand tools
